Led a project to develop a campus marketing strategy for Microsoft Excel, targeting Gen Z students and driving adoption among the next generation of users.
Overview
Despite being one of the most widely used tools in the world, Excel has a Gen Z problem: younger users aren't growing up with it the way previous generations did. Through a Product Space @ UCLA contract, I led a project in partnership with Microsoft Excel to help change that, focusing on how to make Excel relevant and exciting for college students. My work spanned audience segmentation, messaging strategy, campus outreach, and identifying the right community channels to reach students where they already are.
